RECRUITMENT OF CHEFS / MANAGERS FOR THE RESTAURANT AND HOTEL CHAIN OF QATAR AIRWAYS [PHASE 2]

An opportunity to work within the restaurant, hotel, and retail chain of the 7-star airline Qatar Airways—a traditional partner of Nibelc Group since 2016—announces recruitment phase 2 for the year 2021.
International Construction and Labour Supply Joint Stock Company (NIBELC), operating under Overseas Labor Supply Service License No. 1019/LĐTBXH-GP (reissued on March 22, 2018), is seeking to recruit a large number of Chefs and Managers to work in the catering restaurant, hotel, and outlet chain of Qatar Airways with the following criteria:
1. Selection Criteria

Physical Requirements (Male): Height from 1m60 or above; weight from 55 kg or above. Age between 18 and 45.

Health Status: Good health, good eyesight; free from illnesses such as Hepatitis A, B, C, HIV, pulmonary tuberculosis, syphilis, venereal diseases, history of brain or heart disease, chronic diseases, and bone/joint disorders. No visible tattoos and no criminal record or prior convictions.

Professional Requirements: Strong English communication skills. Proven experience and proficiency in cooking and kitchen management.
Job Descriptions
Chef / Chef de Partie (Station Chef)
Responsible for managing a designated kitchen section or a specific group of kitchen staff. Oversees food processing stages from preparation and ingredient sourcing to cooking and final plating, ensuring dishes meet diners' preferences and restaurant standards.
Sous Chef (Second-in-Command)

Manages day-to-day operations in the kitchen.

Organizes, schedules, and delegates tasks appropriately to individual staff members and sections.

Directly prepares dishes when requested by customers, the Head Chef, or Management.

Ensures all food is completed flawlessly in terms of flavor, presentation, and color.

Conducts quality control checks on dishes before they leave the kitchen to be served to guests.

Assists in menu creation for the restaurant. Regularly updates industry trends and customer tastes to contribute ideas for new menu items. Collaborates with the Head Chef to manage food costing and pricing.
Head Chef / Executive Chef
The Executive Chef is the overall head of the kitchen department. Responsibilities involve global management of all kitchen operations: developing menus, supervising and managing staff, directing culinary business operations, maintaining strict quality control and food safety/hygiene, and guiding all kitchen sections to work efficiently.

3. Working Conditions and Deployment Fees

Contract Term: 02 (two) years, renewable in accordance with regulations.

Basic Working Hours: 08 hours/day, 06 days/week (shift work). Overtime will be calculated and compensated based on labor laws.

Airfare: The employer provides both outbound and return airfare upon the successful completion of the contract.

Accommodation & Meals: Provided by the airline in accordance with company regulations.

Deployment Fees: Deployment fees, deposits, and additional surcharges are subject to the company's regulations.
4. Interview Schedule, Required Documents, and Deployment Timeline

Recruitment Process: Candidates must submit an English CV along with a 15-minute video clip demonstrating their food preparation and cooking skills. Online interviews via ZOOM will be scheduled 1 day after the CV is received, starting from July 19, 2021.

Required Documents: Original passport (must be valid for over 2 years), 8 color photos ($4\times6$ cm) with a white background and dark-colored shirt, medical examination results, and personal background records following the company's guidelines.

Important Note: Candidates must undergo pre-screening tests for Hepatitis A, B, C, HIV, and Pulmonary Tuberculosis before participating in the official recruitment entry exams.

Expected Deployment: 2 to 3 months from the date the worker completes all required documentation.
