Launch Ceremony of the Vietnamese Leadership Board & Grand Opening of ITW Berlin Vocational Training School – Branch 2
On the afternoon of May 27, 2025, at Herzbergstraße 58/59 - 10365 Lichtenberg, Berlin, a meaningful event took place: the Launch Ceremony of the Vietnamese Leadership Board and the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the opening of Branch 2 of ITW Berlin Vocational Training School — an important milestone for the Vietnamese community in Germany.
This marks the first time a vocational training school in Germany operated by Vietnamese people has officially commenced operations. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Vu Quang Minh, First Secretary Pham Huy Phuong, along with representatives of various Vietnamese associations and businesses in Germany.
The event introduced the inspiring revival journey of ITW Berlin following a difficult period at the end of 2023. With investment and support from a team of Vietnamese entrepreneurs, the school has been restored and “reborn” under Vietnamese leadership, with a sustainable development strategy in partnership with NIBELC Vietnam in vocational training, skilled labor placement in Germany, German language education, certification in traditional medicine practice, and multidisciplinary training programs such as Information Technology, hospitality, office administration, culinary arts, and more.
In 2025, the school is expected to train approximately 1,500 students in Germany.
